Design
During the early research process, we emphasized the dual use of the machine. The chosen design style was geometric with clean lines.
We divided the machine into two main bodies and differentiated various areas with the use of updated patterns.
The award-winning SodaStream DUO was designed and developed by Tamooz in collaboration with the SodaStream development team.
Development
The carbonation method of a glass bottle and a plastic bottle are completely different, making the combination challenging, requiring mechanism development and compatibility between the different carbonation platforms. Safety was emphasised as there is use of glass under high atmospheric pressure.
